Made with the same recipe as always, ourartisan stone-baked nougat is a product that has been part of our pantry for generations. For some unknown reason it was not sufficiently marketed and remained in the background behind its brother, turrón de Jijona. In recent years, with the rise of organic products and some food intolerances, it began to be demanded and now we sell it as another product.
Although this nougat does not require any cooking in its manufacturing process and the Jijonencos used to make it at home by grinding it with stones. Hence its name, to the stone. it is difficult not to get a dry and earthy nougat, so we only use high quality almonds that give it the right thickness and taste.
Ingredients: Toasted almonds (49%), sugar, lemon zest and cinnamon. May contain traces of other nuts, egg and/or sesame.
