The Hard Almond Nougat (Alicante) bars you can buy in our shop weigh 200 g or 300 g. The same as the soft Jijona nougat you can buy here. Traditionally made with our unique hard nougat recipe.
Making Hard Almond Nougat (Alicante) is not easy. The caramel must be prepared by mixing sugar and all the honey. Then, to whiten the mixture, egg white is added. Once the exact point is reached, the toasted, peeled almonds are added. Finally, it must be placed into large moulds where blocks are made which, once cut, become the traditional Hard Almond Nougat (Alicante) bars you can purchase.

Ingredients: Toasted almond (65%), honey (20%), sugar and egg albumen. Wafer on the surface (potato starch, sunflower oil). May contain traces of other nuts, sesame, milk, soy and peanuts. Store in a cool, dry place. Gluten-free product / Gluten free.
