When we talk about nougat rounds, people hesitate, because this format is rarely seen in supermarket and shop displays. We are going to explain everything we know about them:

What are nougat rounds?

As their name suggests, the Rounds are round and flat, and they are the original format par excellence, as they used to be shaped by hand.

Our company has always made them, especially the Imperial Alicante ones, but we have more varieties.

An important feature is that, in the case of the Alicante, Guirlache and Chocolate rounds, whole almonds are used. They must be graded and selected by hand by size.

In the case of Almond Cinnamon soft nougat and Jijona, although the recipe is the same as for a bar, here we find a creamier texture, as it is packed directly from the machine into the final packaging, which helps retain all the oil in the product.
