Buying Jijona nougat in round format means acquiring the perfect format for sharing. We manufacture this nougat with our own recipe from 1854. The same recipe that we use in our Soft Almond nougat (Jijona) bars that you can buy.

This Jijona nougat round is certified with the guarantee of the Jijona and Alicante nougat regulatory council (PGI) as it is manufactured under strict controls and with the finest quality ingredients of Mediterranean origin: Marcona almonds, pure bee honey, sugar and egg white.

This format is not usually found in supermarkets as it has quite limited production. The texture tends to be slightly more liquid as it retains some of the almond’s natural oil.

As it is a Soft Almond nougat (Jijona) with a designation of origin, an independent body guarantees its quality and traditional flavour. To obtain this certificate, the nougat must meet strict requirements. Our 1854 classic recipe far exceeds these percentages.

Ingredients: Roasted almond (70%), honey (17%), sugar and egg white. May contain traces of other tree nuts, sesame, milk, soya and peanuts. Store in a cool, dry place. Gluten-free product / Gluten free.
