What you should know about Nougat Bars
Turrón bars are the classic format. Easy to produce, they help reduce costs in the packaging process.
Turrón bar cutting process:
The nougat bars you can purchase in our store are made in different ways, depending on the type of nougat.
The first step involves creating large rectangular blocks weighing between 6 kg and 10 kg.
Once the block has sufficient consistency, it will be cut using different machines, depending on the type of nougat.
For nougat bars with a “soft” texture, a machine called a “Guitar” is used. This machine features parallel strings spaced precisely to ensure a uniform cut.
If the texture is hard, each nougat bar is cut individually with a saw.
Finally, once the block is cut into equal bars, each nougat bar is individually packaged.
