The Almond Cinnamon soft nougat you can buy in our shop is made by hand following recipes we have kept since 1854.

This Almond Cinnamon soft nougat has been part of Jijona’s pantry for a long time. And this is precisely the nougat that was made in homes, having a more manual preparation, without machinery.

To craft our artisan stone turrón, we only require: the finest quality toasted almonds, fresh lemon zest, and sugar. These ingredients are ground in a stone mill (similar to a flour mill) to create a sweet dough that is weighed and placed in molds. Finally, sprinkle with a touch of cinnamon.
