The hard Alicante nougat inside each of the jars has denomination of origin and is made entirely in Jijona with national raw materials of the highest quality.
Formerly these cakes used to be served in a metal or tin can, we have reconverted this product into a reusable PET plastic can, ideal for storing food.
This metal jar with nougat was very typical in the past and nougat used to be sold in it before the use of plastic. In almost every home there is a similar metal jar of nougat with threads and needles of our mothers, grandmothers….
Ingredients of the imperial cakes inside this plastic jar: Toasted almonds (65%), honey (20%), sugar and egg albumin. Surface wafer (potato starch, sunflower oil). May contain traces of other nuts and/or sesame.
