These pies are made with candied sweet potato and marzipan. The result: a tender and tasty sweet, perfect to combine with coffee or chocolate.
The steps to make these sweet potato-filled glory pasties are simple: A block of artisan marzipan made with at least 50% almonds is stretched in a thin layer and circles are cut out with a glass to create the ideal shape. Once cut, each cut is filled with the sweet potato and folded by hand to create a patty shape. After a brief baking, they are individually packaged for longer shelf life.
