The pure chocolate nougat with almonds that we sell in Turrones la Colmena uses raw materials of the highest quality guaranteed. We usually produce it between September and December as these are the months where the cold temperature helps us to keep its quality intact. Although it is true that we do make some shipments during the rest of the year in order to be able to service our customers all year round because it ends.
Pure or dark chocolate is the result of the mixture of cocoa paste and cocoa butter. Don’t be scared by the name of these ingredients, they are natural products that come from the cocoa bean. One thing should be clear, the higher the proportion of cocoa, the lower the percentage of sugar. Our dark chocolate nougat has a minimum cocoa percentage of 70%, which means that it will always be higher than 70%. Note that others sell pure chocolate nougat with a minimum of 35%… For us it is ridiculous.
