One special thing is that the recipe for these coconut bonbons does not contain condensed milk. We only use a few drops of natural coconut flavouring when we melt the white chocolate so that the aroma is perfectly distributed.
Once the almond is toasted, we place it in circular drums to add the chocolate and give it the desired shape. At the end of the process we dust it with grated natural coconut. The same coconut we use in our homemade coconut turrón.
These coconut and chocolate balls resemble chocolate-coated almonds but made with white chocolate with dusted coconut.
The ingredients of these white chocolate bonbons with coconut are:
White Chocolate Coating 69%: (Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Milk powder, Emulsifier: Soya lecithin and flavouring), Almond 21%, sugar, grated dehydrated coconut and coconut flavouring.
