The pure chocolate turrón with almonds that we sell at Turrones la Colmena uses top-quality raw ingredients with guaranteed quality. We usually produce it between September and December as these are the months where the cold temperature helps us to keep its quality intact. Although it is true that we do make some shipments during the rest of the year in order to be able to service our customers all year round because it ends.
Pure or dark chocolate is the result of mixing cocoa mass and cocoa butter—don’t let the names of these ingredients scare you, they are natural products that come from the cocoa bean. One thing must be clear: the higher the proportion of cocoa, the lower the percentage of sugar. Our dark chocolate nougat has a minimum cocoa percentage of 70%, which means it will always be above 70%. Note that others sell pure chocolate nougats with a 35% minimum… For us, that’s ridiculous.
