These sweet potato shells that you can buy in our store are the traditional ones. It is also known as Casca dels reis.

The “cascas de reyes ” are a very popular sweet in the Valencian Community and in some areas of Mallorca, as it is customary to give them to the godchildren on the night of Epiphany, instead of the famous “roscón” (ring-shaped pastry).

We make these marzipan shells with our artisan recipe that uses marzipan (of the mollar almond variety, which is sweeter and we use less sugar) and we fill them with candied sweet potato, although we also have shells filled with candied yolk. To give more variety to the fillings.

They are hand-wrapped in cellophane tied with ribbons and weighing 250, ideal for sharing between 3 or 4 people.
