Handmade, buying cascas de Yema is part of the Valencian customs. Where they are also known as Casca dels reis.
These egg yolk-filled shells are handmade using our centuries-old recipe that includes marzipan made with mollar almonds (sweeter in flavor than others).
These casques de reis de Yema that you can buy are popular in the Valencian Community and in areas of Mallorca, it is customary to give them as a gift instead of the famous roscón de reyes.
We sell them wrapped in hand-tied cellophane and weighing 250g, enough for 3 or 4 people. If you prefer, you can also buy our Cascas de reis stuffed with Gloria (candied sweet potato).
