This turron is popularly known as Terronico in the province of Alicante. Although it is really a Guirlache nougat with sesame seeds. The taste is a little different thanks to these seeds.
In Turrones la Colmena we elaborate it with our own traditional recipe that was updated to make it not so hard. More almonds and more honey than sugar were added, making a caramel with a lower melting point that melts in the mouth as well as crunching.
Ingredients: Toasted almonds (65%), honey, sugar, sesame and wafers (potato starch and sunflower oil). May contain traces of other nuts and/or egg.
